📣 Calling All Future Leaders & Experienced Coaches! 📣

Springbank Minor Hockey Association is excited to launch our brand-new Junior Coach & Coach Mentorship Program!

This initiative is all about developing our youth members into leadership roles within our association and community. It’s a fantastic way to give back to the game and explore a future in coaching!

🏒 Junior Coaches (Age 16+) 🏒

Are you a graduated SMHA player interested in coaching? This is for you! Junior Coaches will:

  • Help run drills and assist the coaching staff during practices.
  • Play a part in regular team routines.
  • Help on the bench during games (assisting forwards, defence, goalies, or a combination).

This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on coaching experience and see if it’s a path you want to pursue! An honorarium of $500-$750 will be provided. (Note: Travel expenses for out-of-city tournaments are at the team’s discretion.)

Have valuable coaching experience to share? We’re looking for mentors to help guide and pass on their knowledge to our developing coaches.
