Springbank Minor Hockey Association is dedicated to building strong athletes, strong teams, and strong community. From Timbits to U18, we provide a positive and competitive environment where players of all skill levels can grow their confidence, develop their abilities, and fall in love with the game. Our programs emphasize sportsmanship, teamwork, and a lifelong passion for hockey.

With committed volunteers, experienced coaches, and a supportive Springbank community behind us, we focus on both player development and personal development. Whether athletes are stepping onto the ice for the first time or striving to reach the next level, Springbank Hockey is here to help them thrive—on the ice and beyond.Ā

A Pathway for Every Player

From first steps on the ice to competitive development, Springbank Minor Hockey Association offers programs for all ages and skill levels. Each division focuses on fun, teamwork, and building strong fundamentals, supported by committed coaches and an inclusive community.

Timbits (U7)

A fun and engaging introduction to skating and hockey that builds confidence, basic skills, and a love for the game.

U9

Skill-focused development with an emphasis on skating, teamwork, small-area games, and improving puck confidence.

U11

Players begin structured gameplay with more advanced skating, passing, and shooting development—building strong foundation skills.

U13

Increased competition and development, with players learning systems, positioning, and game awareness while continuing to grow technical skills.

U15

A balance of skill refinement, physical development, and teamwork as athletes progress in speed, decision-making, and on-ice responsibility.

U18

Advanced development with higher game intensity, leadership opportunities, and preparation for lifelong involvement in hockey.
